Moving insurers ?

  Italian 3.2 V6
Ok, Wanted to go with greenlight 3months ago but was declined for doing too many quotes within a month. So went with second best, direct line.

Going to try with greenlight again As they were slot cheaper and see if I'm allowed this time as 3months have passed.

Now what I need to know is what's the crack with NCB and my named drivers NCB's? Will this be swiped and I'll have to start scratch for year from when I start with greenlight?

Any other issues Which may be a problem? Iv never done it before so unsure of what happen?

Also what's this guy like on here who does insurance for the Clio RS range? Any good feedback for him? Does he do good prices?

Cheers, PSJ.

Bad points would be in your case:

- Lose the current no claim months you have with Direct line, and have to start again with greenlight,

- Pay a certain amount of deposit again,

Is there any different in price wise with Direct line and Greenlight?

You usually have so many days to swap over - I changed from green light too adrian flux - only because they did a very good deal for me, and I pay half now and half though the year.... which helped alot at the current min (buying a a house - money going everywhere!)

Your NCB will stay with you (proof is needed)

have you already taken your insurance out??

You will lose those 3months then, but keep whatever NCB you have already. if you can afford it etc then ye do it,

You will have to pay for a cancellation fee and you will lose your 3 months you have been with them, the fee could cost a few £'s!

(what he said above! lol)

Will have to ring greenlight n see, i mean it may cost abit to change but will be worth the premium greenlight offered so should still be better off.
