MP3 Headunits

its a kenwood, if you buy t youll regret it, best bet is to go for one of the budget alpine or pioneer systems

the 7500 is a very good unit, and often overlooked by most, generally most seem to go for the DEHP77MP or the DEHP8400MP, a little bit more expensive, but generally with no added features over the 7500

The sony ones are a lot cheaper and look far simpler/better than the alpine units. I have no problems with my mp30 and it has preouts as well....

but the main issue with Sony is quite simply their quality, or lack of it

sadly the above is no longer open to debate, as many people who have changed from sony to alpine or pioneer have said they will never go back, yes alpines look difficult to use, but in reality are just as easy if not easier to use than most other manufacturers units

rockford rockford!!!

ive got the rf9400R, 5v pre outs, copper platted chassis, so many pre outs i cant remember, inputs, u name it its got it it!!

Have to agree - I have an MP30 and dont mind it only due to the fact its an upgrade from the wonky tape that was in it before!

Until I have the cash I wont be listening to any headunits! I darent!

Still you cant tell it sucks that bad with oems can you!

I have a Kenwood, ok not that one, mine was £300 from Argos about 1 year ago, but neva had any probs wiht it, went in and works first time, has 2 pre outs for my amps.
But i suppose that where you notice it is the sound quality...

i really like the the pioneer 77mp as it looks understated. Those kenwood units look awful and tacky IMO. Another option would be the Pioneer 5500MP, this is going for about £180 on http://www.mcs-direct.co.ukwww.mcs-direct.co.uk
