well... dropped my ipod today and it smashed up, so in need of a new mp3 player....

whats hot at the moment...?


I do like ipods... but i don't want to carry a brick around with me all the time, and the nano only goes upto 8gb, which aint enough. I need 20GB at the VERY least.

So then.... any ideas :dead::dead::dead:

MY ipod video goes all over the world with me, and I'd hardly say its brick like, sits in my jeans pocket and i hardly know its there, 30gbs cant go wrong imo. Get a cheap skin for it, so it dont scratch, and it means u have some more protection should one be daft enough to drop it.

tis thicker, but not by much i dont think, and 80gb is overkill imo, LOL Unless u start loading dvd's and movies on there, and then u will struggle to get a whole movie out of the battery life.

i have more than 80gb of music on my comp..... hate having to route through it and decide what, and what not to put on my ipod.... so more space the better

the shuffle on my ipod has always been s**t... always plays stuff that i aint in the mood for listening to. But its good when it plays a mint song you aint heard for AGES :approve:

I've got a Creative Zen Micro - would'nt recommend it; the headphone socket has bust.

I've had two. Got it when it first came out. First one lasted about 2 months before the headphone socket went. Second one about 18 - blatantly a build quality issue there
