MPG!?

Whats all your MPG's on your 182's.

I done some long distance driving, blasted it a lot, had a couple of small races. Didnt really try much to keep down the MPG and averaged at 32MPG,

Got 291 Miles out £36

Which concidering my 1.3 used to do the same aint too bad!!

Driving at normal speeds keeping at 3K revs im sure you could hit 350.

Anyone got any views?

Jeez! All this sh!te about people saying bigger engines use more fuel. In some respects its right, but if driven sencibly you can get so much more MPG, definatley cruising 70-80

dependant on if you really wanna up the MPG i do about 65-70 inside lane job, you can get about 40mpg then but I tend not too so I'm about 32mpg at the mo.

On my 172 with breathing mods and a map giving it quite a bit of beans i manage just under 30 mpg.

My 172 gives me 47 mpg on a long run and 42-44 mpg around town. I think I must be light-footed? ;-)

TBH that's not a lot of MPG these days. Do you thrash about with the pedal to the floor?

Seriously... I think this thread is showing how different MPG figures can be - presumably by the way the car is driven.
