Having had this happen to me a couple of times, it's amazing how differently companies handle this sort of thing. Some buy you as a successful developer and leave you to run as you were. Others come in with a sledge hammer and start making major changes.

At the end of the day some developers/artists are used to a fairly easy life and don't like it going all corrporate on them. I guess it's because they are creative types. The industry is growing up, and unfortunately we need to.

It still beats real work though. Lol

Bungie were lucky to have the finances to go back to being indipendant.
