Multi Changer Fitting

As above really, how do you retro fit a multi changer to my car (2001 1.2 Expression)

Is it just a case of lifting the carpet and running the cable along to the headunit, or is there another simpler way that I'm missing?

  172
wont need to lift up the carpet, the panels along the side touching the floor can hide the cable run underneath

How does it then plug into the headunit?

Also will this be alright to jus sit in the storage compartment under the seat, or will it need a mount?

  Milltek'd 182
you'l need to secure it. wont be too hard to wire, dont know if they need separate power though?

they dont need extra power. I fitted the renault one today into my 182.

To make it a tidy job its best if the dashboard comes off.

You can make a tidy job of it without taking the dashboard off imo, just run the cable under the carpet against the centre console then up into the dash nothing to be seen if its done like that.

You'll need to remove the storage tray either way whether you velcro it down or whether you get the proper bracket from reno (£7) and do it that way.
