Multi directional tyre???

  Octy vRS & Ninja 650
Just wandering, as I may be about to buy a spare wheel for my car..... Is there any decent tyres out there for a 182 wheel that will go either way? As in usually a michelin or f1 has only 1 way it should rotate, so really can only be fitted to one side of the car once the tyre is fitted.

So if i had a puncture or something, really i'd have to drive really slow if the spare tyre is on the wrong side?

Sorry for poor use of english, Im a cr*p typer!

Cheers, Mike

I use F1s and have an eagle NCT5 for spare as can be used either side, i.e. non directional.

Guess best way to find one is check the websites like blackcircles or mytyres and see if they list whether tyres are directional or not. Then go for which ever brand you want either to match others or for cheapness as shouldn't run on a spare for too long anyway.

The Continental SportContact fitted as standard to 172's and 172 Cup's are not directional...they have a specified outside edge...and perform more than well enough for a spare wheel/
