Best colour IMHO. Would love one but dont fancy the fuel bills! The sound is pure sex, I bet you can't help but put our foot down with the window open.
Any interior shots?
Doubt it's much worse than your 225 on fuel..
I was close to buyin a 54 plate red one...Buy bottled it in the end.
not got any interior ones bar this one as not had a good clean of the interior yet

errrr...Boy wanted 15k...Car was tatty! Exhaust was about finished...All the beautiful crome was tarnished, Paint was in chronic condition, beyond rotary repair! Wheels were kerbed and tyres were random...The interior was stressed too!!
Yes it was a bad example...But i jus didn't go to see another..>SO bought the vee! lol
I have a soft spot for them tho! Esp the Autodelta ones....+ Supersprint exhuast! Huba!

Yeah i viewed 3 other ones before this one about 1400 miles round trip to view them all!!
It does put you off when you see a uncared for one.. the first one i seen was rough and i was promised it was mint!!
travelled 550 miles to that one - and that was from a dealer! didnt go to view another for a few months put me right off.Autodelta are immense but f00king expensive conversions.
Honestly mate there fine cars that if you do a little research and find out the flaws, they can be ironed out easy enough. I got a Q2 LSD fo it as soon as i bought mine as the diffs are weak points, and the cambelt has been done other than that theres not much to worry about.
Yeah the plate came with it... my middle name is lee so it kinda works ok for me

I was looking at these before I bought the VTS.
Unfortunately finding one in the spec I wanted was too difficult. It had to be white and it had to have red leather. Was difficult finding one in that colour choice. But it looks the best in my opinion.
So gave up.
Gorgeous cars though.

Yeah white is the must have colour.. but very rare. And as for the red leather it doesnt exist in the gta's. Its either all black or black wth one of the following blue, tan or grey inserts
I got it from Luton he only had it since october.. and yes there is a scratch on the drivers door which lets it down. And the 7 owners is a shocker but i just had to have it and it was cheap. Had it checked over last week by an alfa specialist and they said it was a mechanically sound car so thats the main thing with these alfas...
I love the interiors but its not for everyone. Relly well put together and with quality materials.
Thanks and yeah i know the car, i phoned up about it in the summer (was in Bolton) and someone beat me to it!
I dropped it off at Mangoletsi near Knutsford. Be over 2 years ago now

fuel is quite bad but not loads worse than my old 197 to be honest.. £37 will get me about 270-290 miles on a gentle run, round town probably down to 210-230.
They are reliable cars in fact its the V6 and diesel alfas that are the reliable ones. Its the people who dont know about the issues with alfas that call them unreliable. i.e. dont change the cambelt before the qouted 72k as they snap anywhere from 40-70k. And then there is the diff which is weak. I uprated mine to a very highly recommonded q2 LSD for 530 fitted!
Now should be troble free.

.02 better than an integra type R, ok more power but its a myth it doesnt handle.
Sorry, that doesn't prove anything. I've driven a couple and they were pretty poor in the corners and felt very heavy. Quick on the straights but and looks nice but that's it for me. Driving the GTA and then driving my Saxo VTR right after was all the convincing I needed.
Fair play thats a perfectly fine conclusion as it will feel heavier than a 900 odd KG Saxo. I had a Mk1 172 for 5 years, a 147GTA for four years and the 172 was more fun, but to say the 147GTA doesnt handle is IMHO not true.

I was going to ask about the handling, my mate had a 2000 gtv v6 for a while, imo that car was very nose heavy:dapprove: I had a fiat coupe 20vt plus at the same time (they are supposed to handle badly too) and imo the fiat handled so much better (well for how I drive, which isn't silly) mine had uprated suspension on it though.
The dude I got my car from actually got a gta next, I never got round to asking him about the car though
Is the gta quite nose heavy ?? Do any of them come with sat nav at all ? (my old boy quite likes them too)
