My 1st MOT tommorow...

On my 182 after getting it last August.

I've been quite lucky with MOT's in the past of previous cars i've owned so they have always passed, but is there anything 182's usually fail MOT's on?

Check all the obvious ones, bulbs, horn etc

TYRES garages charge a fortune if it fails on tire. better checking and changin b4. little money saver

Got to have mine done tomorro, lucky i checked the date. I checked all bubs, break lights, fluid levels, etc. Im not sure what to look for as this is my first car but fingers crossed.

Also my rear wiper is just about coming off abit, could it fail on that?

Wipers and bulbs are the usual ones that people fail on.

Unless it's totally shot, put a bit of superglue on it, job done.

Well my MOT expires in 2 weeks, so if it fails on tires then surely I have 2 weeks to sort out am I right?

Well the top 3 in Britain that cars fail on i believe are suspension,catalytic convertor and steering! Yes all the 3 things you can check if your not a mechanic haha

Realised mine expired a week ago:quiet: Just got a call that it failed on a licence plate bulb, so all sorted!

I think they will only fail if there below the 1.6mm tread limit otherwise they will just put it on the advisory sheet!

Yeah everything is fine I think apart from theres a couple of chips in drivers sight of my windscreen (which i never notice anyway) and the drivers side front tyre, but I think it's legal still.

I assume that both of those would just be advisory.
