My Auto Lights Have Stopped Working?

My cars been ace for the 6 weeks ive had it, then since wednesday its all gone wrong!

Its a 51 reg 172, and on wednesday i gave myself a flat battery by having just ignition on with radio, heater etc

Since then my Sigma alarm is in reverse! I lock the car using the Sigma fob, and it disarms the alarm, i unlock it and it arms it! Tried diconnecting battery etc but still no luck!

Then, i got a fooking leaf in my air vent, and that is the most annoying sound ever! So yesterday i took the bit of scuttle panel off and took out the knackered pollen filter. While it was out i blew threw the vents, and then vacced out all the bits etc. Then i put a new filter in it, and all was good..

Or so i thought..

Last night i started it, and my lights didnt come on like normal! I had to manually put them on, they work fine but just dont come on automatically!!!

Anyone any clues, as it seems too much of a coincidence that one minute im messing round under the scuttle panel, and the next my auto light dont work! Anyone know where the light sensor is?

Sorry if this is in the wrong bit, bit 1 i couldnt find an electrical section, and 2 its a rant story lol!!

Think the battery going flat was you own fault, tried reseting the ECU?

Oh yea i know it was my fault, i was chatting lol

They worked until yesterday (sat) though, i had flat battery on wednesday

The light sensor is behind the rear view mirror but i would say it might be worth trying to turn the auto light back on you do that by turning the lights on off twice with the ignition on that to turn them on and you will get two beeps i think and once to turn off one beep

Ah haaaa cheers Matt, fixed the lights thing now! Must've turned them off lol

Now all ive gotta do is fix the alarm!
