My car is making a knocking noise when u gentley press the gas just woundering what it is thanks

dog bone lower gerabox mount? engine mounts 1st port of call you to check mate, when u accelerate keep your han gently over gearknob if jolts back then it would definatly point towards lower mount!! if it clunks when you turn hard then would most likely be upper/lower ball joints etc!!

as i said check mounts/bushes for play in joints 1st!!

What type of knocking?

One big clunk or a rapid, multiple knocking thing?

My guess is exhaust rattling on either the rear spring or the beam.
