MY CAR STARTED FALLING TO BITS.......!! SNAPPED SPRING! EXCUSE TO LOWER?!

  clio dynamique dci
driving along, went over a bump, and bang! clatter clatter....... front spring sheared!! scared the sH1.t out of me, but according to my mechanic, its not that uncommon! car is 2004, thought this seemed well dodgy. car still sits level, which is even weirder. recon its gona have to go -35mm now ha ha. i know it will be more bumpy, but to those whove dun it, is it a good move or not? me recon it sits to high anyway.:drunk:

My spring snapped..got 35mm lowering springs..cheaper than replacing the original ones .
got 60mm now though as it just wasnt low enough..lol.

defiantely worth lowering it transforms the look of the car.

ive got a question for someone. if you lower 35 or 40mm will it still be as bumpy as mine which is lowered 60mm

  Mercedes C320!

Lowering really improves handling, mines 35mm lower and car just sits alot better,i snapped a spring on my corsa and car sat level AND PASSED AN MOT! Only time i noticed it was when braking car leant to one side!
