My car whistles...

I've had my mk 172 for a couple of months now, and ever since I've had it, it seems to make a really loud whislting noise when I do over about 60 mph. I assume it's the wind coming through the seal on the wind-screen. It's doing my nuts in cos I use the motorway all the time. Does anyone know how to sort it?? I don't particularly want to go to Renault to sort it cos they will rip me off.

Mine whistles a fair bit too, just put it down to it being french lol

Try taping over the hole under the drivers side wing mirror, sorted mine out

Yeah the build quality of French cars are pretty tosh. I will try taping the hole under the wing mirror, cheers Warren. It wont look too stylish, but I can't stand it whistling anymore!!

LOL its the bloody windscreen wiper! i had this also, changed em for some bosch retro flat wipers! problem solved.
