my clocks!

I own a 1992 Clio 1.2 RL

I have a set of 16v Clocks in it!

The Speedo Jumps up and down until you get to 40 when its solid as a rock Why?

The Temperature Display dossnt work on the clocks ! I know i dont have the right car for the clocks but ive heard that it can be made to work by buying 16v mirrors and wiring them up?

Also Where can i buy the light bulbs that light the speedo up far left bulb has gone!

Cant remember why the needle jumps but IIRC its pretty expensive to fix, hence the reason why everyone just puts up with it.

Isnt it just a new speedo cable?

As for bulbs, Halfords perhaps?

Speedo cable was causing that problem on my old RT. Bulbs ou can get from Halfors or CAFCO/GSF etc.

Yup, speedo cable. Same happened in my Willy 3 and 205 GTi.

In terms of bulbs, try a scrappy, rip out an out instrument pannel from a clio, and take a few of the bulbs, p*ss easy

agree scrappy 4 bulbs get em free, speedo cable cause it to jump or it may not be in gearbox rite. be carefull as the dials are set up for a 16v so mite read incorretcly? as 4 temp i take it you mean outside check all connections to it and if you got a digi cam can you email me a pic of the connections pls as some of mine have fell ou? cliomyk2003@hotmail.com
