If it was mine I would not have bothered with the 182 alloys - makes it look a little bit like a 182 - which it isnt.

Id have gone for some other alloys and then lower it a couple of feet and will look a lot better.

I think when you see that picture it shows how much the subtle cosmetic modifications on the 182 make a massive difference to the overall look.

Chill fella, it's not like he's put 2.0 and Renault Sport badges all over it

yeah i only intended to try and make the car look nice, not go over the top just something that suited the car. and that was something i liked about them, dont worry im not going to be putting sport badges over it because it would look stupid. i would rather have my dCi badges anyway, im proud that its a dci and im getting 65mpg thanks

Im just saying for the money, there are a lot better alloys out there that would probably suit the car more than some 182 rims.

i see but i paid £250 for the rims with tyres so if you can find better for that price, tell me...

hell yeah 5 door expression, same as me, excellent! i like that colour, are you going to be doing any mods to it?

yeah thats the plan. though will be slow to do them as i'm young and will prob do them gradually.

got -60mm springs to go on when a mate can fit them for me.
got all round new bump trim, badges, handles & a fair bit of interior trim that will all be colour coded in the near future.

will also be getting a set of these (hopefully) once its lowered.
[just realised i havent actually checked if they're the right fitment yet though.]

wanted to go really "standoutish" and go for these

with matching badges and the like but if i ended up not liking it it would be a big waste.

fookin hell mate i was going to get the exact same rims as them!!! the only reason i didnt was because i got these for a good price! id go for the black ones personally, i reckon they will look awesome and im in the same boat as you mate, at sixth form so money is frikkin tight!

haha dont i just know it. spend half my weekly money on petrol, last month had insurence, tax & MOT all due at the same time. its a good job i enjoy driving or i'd have packed it in months ago.

think i will go with the black wheels. In two minds what colour to do bumpstrips in though. thought maybe silver front and back & then the same black as the wheels down the sides with black handels aswell. Did think about going black all the way round but again i dont really know how that would turn out
