Hey guys,
My Mk1 172 is an import from Germany. It has the standard Renault immobiliser and a Cobra Alarm - all factory fitted before I bought the car.
Its recently stopped working properly. I can set the alarm. Open the door manually (using the key), put the key in the ignition and start the engine!! (CAT 1?....not!!!!)
During all this time it beeps feebly at me. Eventually it will go off but you can drive the car around quite happily whilst it does this!!
Anyone got any ideas? Its going to Renault on Thurs as I really cant have this!!!
