My first try at HDR... I've done it from one Jpeg so its not great..

Whats the idea behind this? I thought that you had to take three photos. One normal, one underexposed, one overexposed, then layer them on top of each other.

Yep.. thats the best way to do it. I created 3 Jpegs from one, with a bit of practice the results can be just as good. I need to get a tripod before I can start doing proper ones.

HDR pics are great when done properly, most just end up looking like a dodgy filter has been applied in Photoshop.
