My first low light shots...

Got my tripod last weekend and my remote arrived the other day so I went out for a few snaps.

These were mostly on aperture priority with the smallest aperture, ISO 200 and I let the camera do the rest.

Any comments would be greatly appreciated.. Not had the D40 long.

Oh yeah... the car is VERY dirty but I just had to try getting some pics lol.

very nice. you should try having the apperture wide open, gives a nicer effect imo

The first one was right open IIRC and the orange light is a street lamp.

Cool, people like them. Gonna clean the car next opportunity I get for some better pics and will mess with the settings a little.
