My horn is broken!

My horn only work if the steering wheel isn't central :S

Even then it makes a really horrible noise as if the power is draining from it.

Any advice as I hate the idea of not being able to beep w*****s especially on the A1 if they try and pull out on me.

Bad connections. Take the steering wheel off and check everything is connected, probably a good place to start

bad earth,faulty contact on steering wheel to horn,wiring caught...

Is the airbag in correctly, check the two bit on the underside of the steering wheel

Ok - how do I know if the airbag is in correctly? How do I properly diagnose the problem?
