My hot nuts

  172 cup TT

Dont get excited lads - im reffering to my wheels nuts :)

Anyway, just a quick one... Im giving my nuts a touch up (oh the damn puns!).... making them silver again as they are looking a bit black and manky.. When i took them off i couldnt hold them for more than a few seconds due to being far too hot... they remained this hot for a good 10 mins.. Anyway, i think its nothing to worry about as i had just been driving, and its a hot day.. .BUT i have noticed over the past couple of weeks a funny feeling through my brake pedal and was wondering if this may have caused a heating of the general wheel area including the nuts if a pad was slightly stuck or something...... Basically, after an hour or so of decent driving should the wheel nuts be too hot to touch?.. just concerned that these "lava" nuts could be a sign of a problem somewhere... Thanks all
