My Hybrids full re-spray (56k warning)

  CS Dungeon
I have been asked a few times now what has happened to my Hybrid so I decided to make a post rather then reply to individual PM's.

Well the Hybrid was looking a little tired and as everything else was mint I thought I'd get her re-sprayed.
By tired I mean stone chips on bonnet, bumper and front wings and 100's of swirls in the paintwork.

Here it is a cpl of days before after a good clean and polish:

This is it after the full re-spray a cpl of weeks ago, im in the middle of taking them to small claims court and the work was advertised by a certain member on williamsclio.co.uk (Williamsclio.co.uk had nothing to do with the company in question)

They also sprayed primer and paint over 3 of my wheels, and door card they also sprayed my Dimma fuel filler cap blue:S

Needless to say that I have put a claim in at the small claims court for a little over £2k

Because of this I have been promted to buy my new toy:D

Christ, Stevie Wonder paint that?

Hope you get it sorted, if it looks that bad in pictures I dread to think what it looks like in the flesh.

Thats terrible mate. When one of my old motors needed a new bumper and there was a bit of oange peel I went ape s**t and got them to do it again. Your car was in a better state before he started!

Once I have got the williams up and running im going to w&d it back and see if that helps, if not im going to attempt to respray it myself in a marquee in the garden:D

It was due to go into the bodyshop tomorrow for shot blasting and a re-spray, however I have cancelled that and used the funds to purchase the Willy and will be swapping the engines, gearbox, 4-pots, coilovers etc onto the new car and once I have rebuilt the Willy engine that will be going in the Hybrid again and will be used as a track car.

Maybe a good PC'ing would sort some of the problems out.

I just hope the bodger that painted it pays up for the damage done.

Wet sand, Rotary and then PC is the only thing you can do to try it. Correcting wet sanding with a PC takes ages, you will need a rotary in there to help things along.

Half a wing took me ages, not even attempted the whole bonnet yet!

That's fecking shocking, I have actually seen better jobs with spray cans.

Hope you get the correct compensation for it.

Jesus.... that has to be the worst spray job ever.. it 100% looked better before it got sprayed! Shocking.

  BMW 330d :)
I could have painted that better with a paint brush and a can of dulux. Truely shocking work from a specialised car paintshop.

It will never be as good as that Rich,

The actual paint is in as bad a condition as what the laquer is.

Really :( - looks like it will be respray by yourself then.

I spent an hour or so just on that wing by PC, of you do wetsand it a Rotary will be a must.

Wow that's orange peel at its worst.
I'd be absolutely gutted if I picked my car up from a bodyshop like that - shocking!
