my kenwood headunit

it says in the book my yellow wire on the iso is the ignition and the red is the battery, should i be connecting my remote wire for my amp to the yellow? please reply folks...

I can only comment about my alpine headunit, this had a seperate blue wire called remote turn on that is used for the amps, I would check the wiring diagram for your headunit carefuly as mistakes can be costly.
