My Knobs Shaking!!

Ive noticed lately that my gear knob is shaking quite badly while im driving, it seems to be al the time at 30/40mph on normal roads and 70mph on motorways.

is this normal? the car has around 50k on the clock!

advice/help please??

Parkinsons. My girlfriends clio was doing the same thing, really shaking, after she bought it with 20k on the clock. She took it to Reno a couple of times. They said they'd tighten it up (whatever that means). It helped , although it still shakes a bit. Hers was under warrenty.

Does a B&M really make a difference?

It's a bit pricey, but I suppose I'm changing gears all the time... so I don't mind getting one if it makes the gear change slick.
