just spent a long time getting these bad boys in, relieved after i got them last week but the frames were wrong so instead of sending them back to italy and waiting 6 weeks again i paid my local fabrication company to weld me some plates on and drill them to suit, still need to remove the drivers side again and get another plate welded tho as im sat too far back but ill leave them for a few days til i take them, downside is that my airbag light is on now as well as my engine one(de-cat) cos of the airbags in the seats disconnected, think they look mint tho, feel mint, nice and hug me tight and im sure it handles better;)

my big brakes are rumoured to be in the post too which is nice. decided im saving for the whole hog on the saxo but im not giving too much away, probs not the route people will expect but lets just say i got a lot of saving to do

Very nice Craggy.

Although I can see some quite un-necessary, performance sapping carpet peeking out from under the seats . Cmon man, get it sorted ;)

Argh! And plastic rear trim too!!! Free performance....!

What about the roof lining? :devilish:

lol, you dont know how close the carpet is to coming out, quite scary iv done all this stripping on a brand new nacine, oh the pain lol

Now you need to get rid of the old belts and mechanisms to save some weight. Is you engine standard and what year is you car as im thinking of getting a VTS.

not giving away what is next, but its not just add on bits, were talking built to a specification, and not just the engine.

belts needin to come out but i never had time as i needed to test and drink booze:D, vts is 5 months old now, got it towrds end of 52 plate but i got my private plate on it

Yeah, I suppose if your running a standard exhaust then you wont notice the sort of booming noise that you tend to get with aftermarket systems when you take the back seats etc out.

With the subframes, were they universal ones or did they just send frames for the wrong car?

the y were 106 /saxo ones mate, whic dont happen to fit the seats! what a load of sh*t!! slink hav e complained to omp

Are they ECO seats? Cos I have just litterally (last friday) fitted some to my car but all in black instead of red. Looks mint and they dont half hold you in place. Cheap aswell, half the price of an identical Corberouaidjdjdo (or however you spell it) seat.

I built my frames myself from tublar steal. Just bolted them together because I saw a rather nasty weld on a frame that just completely gave way. Driver=through window.

I am sure it was just a crappy welder though.

So youre going the whole hog then mate? To be honest i would of bought an old VTS rather than ripping apart a nearly new car! You have an opportunity to remove that minging dash off, do it!
