it was the best looked after used car i had ever come across at the time tbf.

That's probably why. They don't work very well when the oil has the same consistency as piss.

My mates just bought a ex police one. Excellent busses. I was shocked how well they go. Then again, being owned buy the fuzzy muff before it could be played with.

My mates dads mate has one, rolling roaded at well over standard power! bought from the police and never touched it

Went through the wars, was running on a mixture of 4/5 cylinders for some of the way and now has some warped front brake discs, but despite all we threw at her, she lapped it up.
