My mouse is knackered

Everytime i click something it's as if i'm holding down the button? rather than just clicking it..

e.g. everytime i click "new posts" and then move the mouse it's dragging the new posts link instead of loading it..

Go to Control Panel > Mouse > Buttons > untick "ClickLock"
