Nice !! I'd love to see the wheels done black, but then I'm biased.

Shame you crashed it into a Corsa though, in an empty car park too ! :rasp:

Cheers guys!

Yeah it is mint! Not a markonit except for ONE stone chip on the bumper!
Got the garage to put me new pilot exalto's and a whole new exhaust on aswell as 6 months warrenty!

Plans are
-a touch lower...
-Set of turini's maybe
-wrap the 172 wheels in some trackday rubber 888's?
-new air filter... maybe a CDA? ideas?
-remap
-stealth exhaust

Any other suggestions?

Tbh I'd say it looks great as it is. Original ones are becoming quite rare now.

hmmm... MINT!

love standard 172's..each to their own but if that were mine id invest in some quality cleaning gear and keep it looking standard..maybe stealth zorst, remap, panel filter and matched inlets and lower it a touch..

I wanna get rid of the swirls :( But i am scared to use a machine polisher

It was Snow faomed, washed, clayed, washed again and polished just before i took that pic.

Stealth zorst is a winner, panel filter over a CDA?

Whats matched inlets actually do?? sorry noob question...

And yeah i want it lowered just a tad, not a fan of slamming cars....

Ditch the CDA and spend the money on Matched inlets.

Get a decent pannel filter (ITG) and maybe get a bigger CFA for the standar air box.

Wrapping the 172 wheels in R888's is a nice idea but they are quite heavy so you would be better off getting some lighter 15" wheels to have a play with, IMO

Cheers =]
What do matched inlets do? silly question probly but i dont know so am not going to pretend to know lol.

How much would i expect to pay for this service and where can i get it done?

matched inlets allow air to flow more freely and people have said they allow their cars to rev easier and feels like engine has a tad more torque..apparently one of the greatest increases with an RS for not alot of moneys. Getting mine done soon hopefully! (correct me if wrong people, just used the search function)

CDA will sound better but tbh your better with a panel filter for performance.

Your car looks in top condition though mate, but if you do have some swirls get somebody to have a go and pc'ing it. I got JD aka jamie to do it off here and he did a fantastic job on mine and i will take my 182 to him again in spring.. looks mint when done!

Matched inlets are usually done as an exchange, ie they send you the matched inlets and you send yours to them plus money, or if you have somebody local they will obv do a drive in service which is what im looking for really!

Cheers pal =] i searched but couldnt find info!
I know you dont get the performance/££££ on the CDA but it looks mint and gives some gains...even if minimal... the gf is buying me that for exmas anyway...

Matched inlets sound like a good move though, now i understand them.

Cheers everyone for the positive comments
