My ph1 - should i get rid?

  RB 200 Cup!
Have a dilemma - want to pay off my debts and best way is to get rid of the flamer. Have two options:

1. Get the panels sprayed first adn then sell or;
2. Just sell now in its current condition

Also not sure what kinda price id be looking at for her bearing in mind she has only done 49k miles but when i got her she had no service history (but i have had a new one started and have had aux / cam belt and oil, plugs changed etc etc etc so she has been well looked after during my ownership).

Reason for panel and bonnet change was cos some bricks fell on her - poor girl.

So ideas on what i should do people would be appreciated

Here she is (excuse me standing like a t**t next to her lol ;))

At least get a couple of quotes as to what the respraying will cost, that way you'll have a better idea of what the buyer won't want to pay compared to a similar spec in one colour and it would also give the buyer (if you sold it as is) an idea of what it'll cost them.

On a side note, why are all these 172s coming up for sale when I can't buy them...:(

If I can sell my car(s) I'd take it off you in that condition. I'll be getting a full respray anyway, so wouldn't bother me.

I'd buy it without having the panels sprayed. Just pay a lower price obviously.
£300 should see them painted.

definally get it sprayed before you sell !

although people will be wary of buying a car with no service history, i know i would.

Imo, if I was buying that, I would want more than just the cost of respraying the parts off the car as I'd have to deal with the hassle of getting it booked in etc.

You'll have a lot more people considering buying it if its already painted I think, and I think you'd lose less money if it was done.
