First up just make sure it isn’t No. 44 as that is my old one and Renault screwed up the paintwork.

The silverstone is just a normal 200 with almost all the option boxes ticked, some even came with leather Recaros so you just need to look for the usual stuff real. Gearbox, belts/ dephaser, and ball joints.

As @Gorms said mate.

Ball joints - turn the wheel from one full lock to the other full lock and listen for squeaks.

Gearbox (although slightly revised from the 197) - get the car to 5k revs in third and shift to 4th. See how smooth or unsmooth it is.

Common problem on the 197 is exhaust flexis which I imagine will be there on the 200’s. Just listen for it really, a horrible blowing noise.

Make sure belts have been done by a specialist within the allotted time/mileage pattern. If not, or not by a specialist/can’t be proved, you want roughly £500/600 off the price so you can get them done.

If you get it, enjoy it!

If you can get hold of the number it should pretty easy to have a look into the history of it.

Good luck with it bud and enjoy!!
