My Sub makes noise when i open the window.

When I open the drivers winder, my sub makes a few bassy booms.. No idea why!

It was put in when I had my Parret installed by a local shop (not halfords) so i have no idea hwere its earthed, I may go and investigate!

I called the company that fitted it (I have the owners mobile on a card mwhaha) - They're shut, but I insisted he speak to me. Told him about the issue and where I found the earth, he sounded quite concerned tbh and wanted to know which of his guys fitted it.

That's a good outcome! But yeah it looks very poorly fitted. And no problem, happy to help!

i had my amp earthed on the rear seatbelt bolt and was fine for years

just need to "sand" the bolt and area around it

looks like hes earthed it to the seatbelt bracket and not the bodywork underneath it
