I bought a 2010 Range Rover sport and the turbos (both) broke this week. LR wanted £5400+vat lol.
That one I cleaned just had both replaced at LR, £5,800 all in. Only done 70k with full LR history. After a lot of arguing he got it down to £5,400.

Piss take really. It's obviously a weak part of the car.

Yeh it's a well known weak point although not massively common like other faults.

We have got two brand new turbos for £1150 and a LR garage (me and my business partner know the manager very well) are doing it for £1300 so not too bad but that is still a massive kick in the balls.

Why would anyone buy an RRS outside warranty?

3 months outside of warranty and my Boss' old one has the suspension give up. I'm positive there wasn't much change out of 9-10k estimate for LR. It was a friend he sold it to aswell.

Even he wouldn't buy one out of warranty.
