mystery knocking noise can anyone help?

hi ive got a 1.6 16v mk2 late 01, the car has been lowerd on adjustable suspension and has 17's the problem is when i turn left there is a knocking noise. it doesnt do it when i go right only when going left. the noise is in relation to the wheels turning and the faster and shaper the corner the worse it is, making the whole car shake like dum, dum dum. ive cheked the arches myself and it doesnt seem to be rubbing on the arch ive tried spacers longer bolts the lot but nothing seems to have an effect!! ive taken it to two garages the first said it was a passenger side drive shaft so i had that replaced whiched did nothing, a second garage said it was the discs and pads so i had them replaced again to no- avail, im so desperate to get this problem sorted its probobly somthing realy stupid and pathetic so any suggestions please do tell me. cheers linford

Really does sound like a shaft mate. Prolly changed the wrong one!

Another CV Joint dead? Get them to check the other drive shafts as they usually end up going in pairs.

ditto, it wont be the breaks, it will be a joint rattling somewhere.

take it to renault minute it is designed 4 renaults over 3 years old and r cheaper
