no intercooler, high emmisions. 80 is what you want but they are rare but not as rare as a 100

I just payed £245 quid!!!

Although I do have a sh*t load more power than a DCI, so I shouldn't grumble really.

dCi 80bhp only produce 110g/km, where as the 65bhp produces 115g/km & the 100bhp models produce 113g/km.

So the 80bhp only just qualify's for cheaper tax.


100's are the way to go!

Remap them and you will surprise a lot of 172's

The stripped out mapped 100 I drove kept up with a standard ph2 172 my mates brother was driving. It my old FK konigsport coilovers on too so was a great little package.

130 nigh on but the lbft is where it's at.

Roughly 120-130bhp / 180-190lbft for the dCi 100.

Not bad at all really.

It's good to know that if times get really hard and God forbid I have to get rid of the 172,
there's a cheap alternative that gets along the road well. (with a bit of fiddling of course)
