ne1 lend me a decat in London area

  Mr2 Roadster

Need one in mid Jan for MOT. I have a RSI 1.8, so most of them fit I think!

South London/Kent would be best!

Would be grateful!!!

if u have your mot in mid jan i think your after lending a cat for it to pass?

other wise the emisions will be 2 rich and it will fail with a decat

not true, many cars pass with a decat fitted, its all down to the maintainence of the engine and condition of ther parts of the engine that lead to the emissions

cars can easily pass the MOT without a cat assuming it has been looked after

Even if your car passes the emissions with the de-cat its still a MOT failure. The law states after 93 a cat must be in place.

do some research on it

there is no law stating a cat must be fitted

Yup, Bambam is completely correct, there is no stipulation that a visual check should be carried out - so if youre emmissions are ok then you pass - :)

My MOT guy looks under the car when he does the checks, he uses a pit. Im sure he would notice?

So just in case does anyone have one?
