Nearside xenon out fuse

my 172 xenon headlight went so I replaced the bulb, still no change, 15a fuse blown is it possible the ballast pack is dead, any advice on testing?

Could be a fault with the wiring if its blown a 15A fuse..

Remove the headlight and unscrew the ballast from the bottom of the headlight, they usually fill with water and blow the fuse.

ive had the exact same problem, took front bumper off and swap the bulbs and bits around and it was still popping fuses, took the ballast off and there was quite abit of water in it. so replaced that with a second had one and worked straight away :approve: ( the ballast is located under the headlight)
