need 1gb of ram for mates imac g4....

looked on crucial and they only have 512mb sections... and the early imac only had 1 bank.....

Is it one of the nipple iMacs?

If so there should be a so-dimm slot (with nothing in it) somewhere in addition to the normal dimm.

Don't get ebuyer's own brand.

Ebuyer actually sell Crucial RAM cheaper than the Crucial website, but with Crucial you do get Special Delivery. (know you said you can't get Crucial but just thought I'd share that in case any1 wondered why).
