Need a new TV/Monitor

Need to move my "computer den" to my bedroom, so thought i'd get myself a nice new monitor as a treat, at present im running a TV card in one of the PC's and using a different one as my main games/internet machine.

SO - combine everything into one package with a new monitor with inbuilt TV say a 22" wide-screen.

OR use an old CRT and get a non TV monitor with 2 separate PC's?

Could you not get a TV card in your PC and then get something like a 24" screen, dell or samsung or similar (same panels)

most of the dell panels as with alot of others have hdmi, composite, component etc so you can just connect up a set top box to them

plug in the vga cable
everyone is happy
no need for tv card
HD resolution

A standard "TV" will probably look awful on a PC compared to a proper monitor.

As McBunny said, you'd be better off getting say the 30" Dell, with VGA/DVI etc and also HDMI for external inputs.
