im new to all this internet jargon and need some info on my new 172 clio if any1 can help thanku please. My insurance company needs to know full make and model of immobiliser and appoximate date of fitment and to finish it off the name and address of fitters and their qualifications. They not asking much (jobs whe bastads). All this money i give them and i still have to do it all. if any1 can help would be nice thanku please. u make me do a sex wee.

Its factory fit, your insurance co. should know that!

factory fit immobiliser which does have a thatchem rating.you should also have a alarm certificate to prove that the alarm is thatchem approved as well.the certificate is filled in when the alarm is fitted at the import centre.

My insurance firm sent back the form that asks for the make and model of immob which i wrote on it as factory fitted. I do have a EC certificate of conformity but dose not have anything on it about immob. Thanks

it should be on there system that it has a factory fit thatchem approved immobiliser.might be best to ring them up and explain.
