Need new brake pads, confused what to get :S

Right, I've just ordered some Brembo front discs for my 172 and now I need to find some decent brake pads to go with them, I've read a lot of things on here but most people are talking about track pads which I don't need.

So I'm just wondering what good brake pads are available for under £40?, i've found these on ebay, are these good for general driving with the odd blast around faster roads? I've used Mintex discs/pads on my previous car and they have been faultless tbh.

Get the best you can afford tbh
As everyone has different opinions on what is good for them,ds2500s are probably the best all round but cost lots

Although standard are more than enough if you just go for a blast now and again
Those mintex are comparable to standard pads, used them myself

Should never skimp on brakes IMO

Get the ferodo 182 pads, made by ferodo for the 182, they are great, I use them with brembo hc and fresh fluid.

Ideally I want to spend under £35 but could stretch to £40 for a good set of pads, are these the Ferodo pads you mean? I presume the 182 has the same fittings etc as my 172?

Fairly sure the 172/182s all take the same pads

So should fit fine
