need new rubber!!

I was inform,ed today that all 4 of the tyres on my 172 will need replacing!!!!

anyone know of which tyres to go for? is it worth sticking with the continental contisport? or are there better makes out there? any links to websites would be handy, was looking at 350 from demon tweeks!

the tyres are 195/45/16

pilot exalto's or goodyear eagle gsd3's, but you gotta let the latter scrub a bit before you get the best outta them- excellent in the wet tho

i've had michy's and f1's on my ph1 172 and to start with i hated the goodyears but after a couple of thousand miles they suddenly gave loads more grip. now i rate goodyears the best. gonna get part worn ones next :clown:

£38 a pop. turned out to be £48 a corner fitted, (including postage, which is fast, unlike mytyres)

Just at a local Garage/MOT centre. rang up for a price, and he asked what i had been quoted, told him the price of the tyre from mytyres and he said he could do it for that, fully fitted, he must of thought that the price i gave him was fitted and balanced! bargin. seems to have a lot more grip now, as all 4 were under the legal requirement. no more understeer!!!
