Need some ’bodging’ help!

OK i can get one of these pretty cheap:

bearing in mind i have a mk1 and the position of the stereo. Do you reckon itd go in?? and if not is there anyway i can get it in????

nah it wont go in cos of that flap design (brilliant in theroy by renault) - i expect u could do it somehow by padding the bottom to lift it clear of the flap? cant reme how the mk1s go

OK, ive been thinking about it and was looking at mounting the stereo horizontal but it would have to stick out quite far to clear the heater controls. So then i thought about the glove box at an angle? I dunno if it will just be too much hastle?

what about taking the heaters out above the controls? i seen this done a few times?

u can fit the screens in the original intended place, the screens can adjust the angle on them, so that they stick out and fit fine....

Awesome!!! I knew the angle could be adjusted, but i didnt think they would that much.
