Was talking to my brother Yesterday, while driving home in his FTO. Hes just bought some blue neons for the interior of his silver FTO, and we were discussing exterior neons..

Is it possible... to have orange flashey (led?) neons under the sides of the car... and when you Indicate... they flash that side. so if your going right, you indicate right, and the undercar orange neons flash too... Just thought that would look pretty cool.. wouldnt be on all the time, but you would see it flashing at night when indicating.

Just an idea..

Wouldnt be hard to do, just wire the neons up to the indicators, so that when you induicated the appropriate side lgihted up.

May be soemthing that has to be done wiht leds rather than neons

I actually LIKE interior neons.. A cold blue glow coming from under the footwells looks really nice, Chris1.2 showed me this first.. and i really like it in his car, and i then put some purple ones in my black 16v.. its always been exterior neons that ive hated, but the idea of them being indicators could be quite funky.

ive just heard that interior neons have been made illigal, get him to take them out please.. you too chris.. your not japanese. :D

undercar indicators.. maybe get done for impersonating an rac van.. on its roof? nah i think they should be fine.

Orange neons are fine, its just the other colours that they dont liek, due to police cars etc.

Im going for blue neons to highlight y boot build, and footwells etc, and quite fancy some blue undercar neons

I thought interior neons were always Illegal? well.. illegal when moving, i think there ok when stationary. I had mine on a switch, if i saw a cop i would always flick them off... although to be honist, my windows were so dark you probably couldnt see them anyway.

i suppose it could be done but some bright leds or stobe type things would be better because im not sure if you could get the normal neon tubes to come on/off fast enough.i might be wrong though as ive never messed around with neon tubes etc.

Yeah it might be best to go for LED tubes or whatever there called than Neon tubes as i dont know how long the neon would last if it kept blinking on and off.

I had blue neons on my white clio. I know the first thing you think of is pikey but once they were on they actually looked pretty mint.

Oh well. Not gonna be putting neons on my next car anyway.
