netgear router and ps3?

i cant get my ps3 to go wireless to my netgear router which is using aol broadbrand. I put the correct network key and everything, but it justs times out. To get my desktop and laptop wireless i just put the aol cd in and it did it for me. However, cant do that with the ps3. Any ideas on how to connect? also the ps3 is fine online as long as its connected directly to the router.

Connect via Ethernet cable first... Then when you connect to the network unplug the Ethernet cable... Enter your wirless key and Bobs your uncle..

Worked for me and im using a Netgear router with BT BB
