New car needs a wash

Hi everyone just got my very first car on wednesday a vw polo (sorry, although a clio is what I really wanted) anyway I really want to give it a clean to give it that mirror finish. So far I know I need a proper washmit to avoid swirl marks but after reading about the various shampoos,wax,ect I dont have a clue what i actually need.

I know this questions has probally been asked a ton of times but would it be possible for someone to give me a link(s) to that items i actually need including that stuff that keep the rain off glass?. Ideally I would want to go over £50. Also the car is silver if that makes any difference?

Thanks for that mate, I take it that's everything I would need? Is there any cheaper shampoo that is still good? Still saving up for alloys and a cd player.
