New car problems!

Bought a brand new clio dynamique 1.4 16v on the first of march! after driving just 10 miles from the dealership the warning light 2 say the abs and traction control had turned off and then the service light has appeared! but after turning the car off and back on it was ok. but it happened a few more times in a week so took the car back! the problem was a poor connection 2 the ecu from the traction control wiring! got it fixed under warranty!

but now i have a new problem, as i am driving along in my little clio the green cruise control light will flicker on and the middle part of the instrument panel showing the mileage changes 2 the set speed screen! its very annoying indeed!!

my question is are clios known for electrical problems! oh yeah and my steering wheel is very squeeky!

Unusual ptroblem youvre had I didnt know anyone with a 1.4 could get or had T/C or cruise fitted.

Clios have a bit of a French wiring touch to them its makes them more unique.

Renault should be able to get the problem fixed maybe you just got a very bad friday car (most seem to be friday cars). if not compain to Renault Uk and youll usually get some money for a free service. Sometime I wise my car had been worse so I could have saved myself £200 or so.

You can get Control Pack when you buy a New Clio ( I think between 1.4, 1.6 & excluding dCi) as a option which includes: Cruise Control and ESP.
