Finally jumped on the bandwagon, got the car yesterday, but had to spend the whole evening sorting out the alarm :dapprove: ..Viva la France! It's a 1.6Si mk2 ph1.

Weather's not brilliant so only took a few quick snaps.

Started stripping the innards out to give them a good clean, they will be going back in. I am looking for a few replacement parts if anyone can help: http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?t=335513

Hope it meets everyones approval. Will be pouring a fair bit of money into it over the next few weeks. If you'd like some of my money and have something to sell me please pop along to this thread:

Cheers Paul, it was a bit of a bargain, so couldn't really refuse! If I get the paintwork up to scratch (or not as the case may be) it should look a bit more respectable, will get all the plastic strips and mirrors etc colour coded at the same time.

With a bit of money it shuld look spot on. wheres your interior door handles?

Lol took it out to clean, but they need replacing anyway. They must have been tightened too much by previous owner cos they'd both cracked around the screws.

Mm, I wasn't intending to have my first £45 go on alarm specialist callouts! :headno: The rather 'elegant' solution was to disconnect the wires from the box underneath the passenger side airbag.

Well these are the plans, don't know what people think..

1. Pick up ph2 dynamique rear bumper from Bloor/Adam tomorrow or later this week
2. Get some ph2 rear light clusters from Whiteley/Chris once cheque has been sent and cleared. Possibly a Dynamique spolier too, not sure though, need to see some pics first.
3. Place an internet order for some side repeaters and silvervisions/techs etc. and new fog light.

Then, once that's done:

- ph2 side strips and bullets (bullets in silver, black strips to match)
- colour code all black plastics and repair paint work
- Eibach pro/sport lines, if Tesco don't get funny with the insurance.. will they??
- short aerial
- different front lights (?)
- general interior clean-up.
- 172 alloys if Tesco allow it.

and see how it goes from there. Kind of killing the ph1 spirit a bit, but I think it should look good, sound like a plan?
