reading about it today, shares same floorpan as a micra and will share similar engines with the micra too, in autocar btw.

also says there maybe a renaultsport diesel version 140bhp and the petrol version will be 200bhp, still looks like a poxy megane though

Looks a bit dull, highsided and megane like in std form. Hopefully the addition of some RS parts will make it look a lot better. Ill wait to see one in the flesh before passing final judgement

Look how well the golf 150 tdi goes. Imagine nearly the same power in a car that is over 300Kg lighter! .. that will certainly move ...

140hp with a remap is ~180hp.

The 140hp engine will be the newly tunned 1.9 engine Ive heard about shame they arnt going for a bigger more powerful engine (190hp would have been a good starting point) but its similar to the Skoda VRS and Ibiza and hopefully a lopt better handling and lughter.

It doesnt looked to bad. In sporty trim and lowered to make the arches look right with the wheels it should look excellent.
