New Credit Card, New Camera :)

  2004 1.5 DCi 80 Dyna
Just bought a Nikon D7000, Got a kit off fleabay with lens (not that I will be using the lens) for £899 new with warranty.

Primarily bought as a backup/different lens carrier for the D300 when out on shoots but going by the specs, the D300 might take a back seat.

Shame it isn't a little bigger like I am used to already.

Looking forward to doing some shots with it, one things for sure, it's not doing any UE with me as it's too new lol.

A few pics of it and them side by side...

The grip is a cheapo at £35.00 It feels a little clunky on the shutter and dials compared to my original MB-D10 but for £35.00 it's fine.

Nikon 18-105 VR I have all Tokina prime lenses that cover the focal distance so probably won't use it

I had a d300 (still have) I don't quite have the funds to afford a D3!!

I took it out into the garden yesterday and am very impressed so far, maybe I will take it a little further next time:D

850W bad boy. It is the newer model as some twerp (not me) put metal in the last one and it went 'poof'
