Hi everyone i just joined here and iv just got a 1.4 16v clio 2002 model i want to get an induction kit and exhaust system and just wonderd if anyone has any recomendations.

depends on how much money you want to spend .

tbh you need to go for an enclosed system mate as the heat soak will just suck hot air use more petrol and feel horrible!! i would get a diff panel filter for std airbox

I have just fitted a PiperX induction kit to my Clio 16v - Sounds so much better and looks great. I brought the relocation kit from K Tec and well chuffed, it only took 10 minutes to fit.
Do cars with induction kits really use that much more fuel ?

no they probs save fuel on a steady run but when hot and suffering heat soak your having to use more throttle so yes plus more air in the ecu will ad more fuel to level out mixture

you'd get a complete exhaust with decat , also a top IK for that money .

1. exhaust , try a powerflow custom make or ask charlie at prospeed
2. viper . bmc of k&n gen2 kits

or


save money and just get a panel filter , money towards the new car

Ok cool i think ill get full exhaust sytem first off,also throttle bodies i know this is quite a big thing to do but iv got a friend from south africa who can get me a set of throttle bodies with fuel rail trumpets injectors and everything for around a grand brand new.

so im considering this but i need to get ecu and throtle linkage thing over here he says and get it fitted ,so what do you all think is this a bargain and how much is a ecu and fitting goin to cost.
