New ipod classic guide

Just ordered myself the 120GB ipod classic yesterday hopefully get it by Tuesday. Is there any hints and tips you lot can give me for when i get it?

I'm allready transfering the songs now to i tunes

Ditch the iPod headphones. Actually don't even test it, and sell them without opening it.
They are rubbish, but some decent headphones.

My music has finished transfering to itunes, but the albums are all over the place like one song or 3 songs off one album and the rest of them is in another place. some albums are ok but pretty much all of them are scattered about. Also disk 1 and 2 are in a sep file on itunes is it suppose to be in 1 file?

How can i sort it out?

Sort by albums then change the artist of that album to all be the same. I'd guess that it will say featuring somebody or something like that.

To sort out disc1 and 2 issue.
Select all disk 1 songs, and right click, edit, and choose disk 1 of 2.
And do same for disk2
Now make the album name the same for both disks ie not to include what disk it is.

The reason this is, is it to do with how i set it up on 'my music' on my pc?

+1 Get some decent in-ear ones from Play.com Ipod headphones are shitty and dont sit in your ear very well.

Forget about the itunes i'm not going to use it tbh

Add the albums one by one and make the sure the ID3 tags are correct :rasp:

you can select all the songs from one album at once and change the ID3 tags in a batch sort of way.

if they still dont match up go along all the tabs and fill in where it says artist/album/composer on the other tabs, works for me.

Exactly what ive done with 120gb of music, its took me a long time lol

F@@K@N hell you lot wernt wrong there shocking the headphones, the sound quality sounds cheap

The best tip I can give you is don't let your hoover suck them up, they're not so good after that I'm going to get another pair of them soon and keep them off the floor next time!!

eBay ones are fake most of the time.
